Fifth Composition Competition
of the Christoph Delz Foundation, in collaboration with the Lucerne Festival and basel sinfonietta.

The CHRISTOPH DELZ FOUNDATION dedicates its fifth composition competition to orchestral works.

A detailed proposal for an orchestral composition is to be submitted by August 15, 2010. Please additionally enclose the scores of two works, which may already have been performed, including one work for large ensemble or orchestra.

From the submissions, the jury will choose and commission the completion of three proposals. Of the completed works, one will be awarded the «Prize of the CHRISTOPH DELZ FOUNDATION» and subsequently premiered by basel sinfonietta under the auspices of the Lucerne Festival in summe 2012. The monetary prize amounts to CHF 50,000.
