Thomas Amann (Austria) is the winner of the Fifth Composition Competition sponsored by the CHRISTOPH DELZ FOUNDATION in collaboration with the LUCERNE FESTIVAL (2012). The prizewinning work, Les jeux / Les Poupées, will be premiered within the program of the LUCERNE FESTIVAL on 9 September 2012 by the basel sinfonietta under the baton of Peter Eötvös. 5th Composition Prize

For the 6th time the Stiftung Christop Delz Foundation has awarded CHF 30'000.– for its Year of Experience Scheme. The jury (Béatrice Zawodnik, Germán-Tóro-Perez, and Michel Rot) has chosen the project of composer Isabel Klaus (Basel).

The Fourth Competition for Composers 2009
Luis Antunes Pena, Tiziano Manca, and Fabien Lévy are the finalists of the Christoph Delz Foundation's 2009 fourth Composition Competition. The ensemble recherche will premiere the works «Defining» by Tiziano Manca and «À propos» by Fabien Lévy at the Lucerne Festival on 19th September 2009. Competition for Composers 2009
